While the NBA takes a break, my friends and I have not. Finding pick-up games in the field house or the Richards Building is not a difficult task. As we began to play basketball it was a very casual game and soon enough it turned into the NBA, a very competitive and heated game. We played against a group of guys that were from a different country, they used their language skills to talk to one another and coordinate plays. Their language skills were very advantageous, especially because the word "foul","travel" or "out" don't translate. Though at times I thought we were playing jungle ball, it was a lot of fun. As I walked out I was relieved to see that there were no injuries, just then there was a tall guy running down the hall to the locker room holding his nose with blood flowing everywhere. I quickly told the front desk and to my surprise they were very casual about it and acted as if it were a very normal occurrence.
Who needs the NBA when BYU has formed a new sport? Basketball mixed with UFC techniques.
