Thanksgiving comes around every year and I promise myself this year I will be better than the last, I have to repeat to myself " I will not overeat, I will not eat to much, I will not make myself sick" and well I guess the good things about goals, if you don't accomplish them, you still have a goal for next year. Over the years I have had to visit just two families, my family on my Dad's and Mom's side. This last summer I was married, my time cut in half and my responsibilities doubled all in one moment. This year it was quite a Thanksgiving feast, we started eating with my family in the morning for a brunch, at one there was a feast at my grandmas, we filled ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, and homemade rolls with raspberry butter covering them. We ate and at 3 o'clock dinner started at the in-law's house, and once again I found myself stuffing my face full of delicious food, like cheesy cauliflower, jello and stuffing. Though I was full, and I felt like I couldn't eat any more, I continually snacked just because it was all left out, I continually asked myself why don't you just stop eating? Oh, and you can't forget visiting with grandma and having dessert, pecan and pumpkin pie, just enough to top everything off. So much for the goal of not over eating, but like I every year before now, there's always next year.

Y Don't I Stop Eating?
