Y Can't I FInd One?
As a family tradition we go to the Uintahs to cut down a Christmas tree, this is the first year that I have gotten one for myself because I am usually at home for the holidays but now I have a home with my new wife. We decided we didn't want a fake tree to be our first one together so we called some friends and made plans to go to cut one down. We made out way to Layton then to Evanston and then on our way to the Bear River station. We hiked around for 3 hours and we could not find a tree that was short and fat, so that is would fit on our living room. We just kept walking and walking and then it started to get dark and a lot colder, there was about a foot of snow we were walking through. I just couldn't figure out where all the good trees were, I could only wonder Y I couldn't find one. We finally found a tree that we thought was decent and we cut it down. We strapped it to the top of our small car and off we went. We got it home, and well it was a little to tall for the room, so I cut the tree down a few feet with a pocket knife. It now fits but, well it looked a lot better out in the forest than it does in our living room. It is tall and skinny and kinda lopsided, but we love it! It is our first, it has character and well I cut it down!
